History of Band Camp

Band Camp is a vital time for all of the members of the Gold Star Marching Band to get our season started on the right foot. During the week before the start of classes, we will cover a variety of topics pertinent to marching band. These topics include marching fundamentals, our school songs, the tunes of the first field show, the most common songs we play, respect, friendship, and building the best band we possibly can be. Do not worry if you don't have previous marching experience, we will get everyone on the same page for a successful season! We will have a variety of guests during band camp and throughout the year. Those guests include Craig Thiltgen (color guard), Ward Miller (Sound, Breathing, Music) and Brent Turner (Drum Majors, Marching Fundamentals).
