Kelsey Ellliason works as a photographer with the band both on the field and off. She is a 2016-2018 Gold Star Marching Band alum having played piccolo in the marching band while working on her undergraduate degree in music education at NDSU. Unable to continue marching her senior year, she volunteered her time as a photographer during the 2019 season.

During her time in the band she held the positions of Secretary of the Band and Section leader. She also joined the music sorority Tau Beta Sigma, a service sorority focused on service in the band. During her time with TBS she held the office of Secretary and the Uniform Chair position.
Elliason is from Bismarck, ND and a graduate of Century High School where she was a part of the concert bands,  marching band, and Spirit of ‘76 color guard playing piccolo. She currently resides in Moorhead, MN with her husband and fellow GSMB alum, Kyle and soon their new baby will join them, too.They are often found spending time with their two cats, Wednesday and Tater-Tot, and their dog, Aura.

Elliason currently works in West Fargo as an elementary music teacher while continuing her photography work with both the band and portrait sessions. This is her seventh season with the band as a photographer.
