Zack Carlson is a part-time staff member who is also an elementary school teacher in the Fargo Public Schools district at Madison Elementary. From 2019-2022 Zack was a member of the trumpet section where he was a holder of the green trumpet in 2021, and served as one of the section leaders for the 2022 season. Zack was involved with Tau Beta Sigma those years as well. Zack will be assisting this year as brass instructor as well as helping with planning, rehearsals, and game days.
Zack Graduated in the Fall of 2023 from NDSU with a degree in Instrumental Music Education with a minor in Vocal Music Education. Zack enjoys performing with other ensembles anytime he can, including the Hot Tub Brass Quintet, the Trollwood Mainstage Musical, the Pros and Cons Brass Band, and the Homuth Big Band.
